BenQ GW2470H: PC Monitor Both for Home & Office Use

BenQ has introduced a new multifunction monitor, targeting both home and corporate users. The GW2470H is a 23-inch solution, based on AMVA+ panel with the integrated LED backlit. It supports Full HD resolution (1920x1080) and its dynamic contrast ratio makes up 20M :1 (3000:1 – static ratio). The maximal brightness equals to 250 cd/m2, while the response time in GtG environment was reduced to 4 ms. Moreover, the display boasts the maximal viewing angles – 178 degrees in both aspects.



BenQ GW2470H comes equipped with two HDMI ports one D-Sub port (video interfaces) as well as one 3.5-mm mini-jack for headphones. The model is housed on a multi-adjustable stand that allows changing the height and tilt alignments.

MSI Outs Cubi 2 with Kaby Lake Support

MSI has updated its lineup of mini-PCs with a new model – the Cubi 2 – that supports Intel Kaby Lake processors. Hence, the greenhorn comes equipped with either Intel Core i3-7100U two-core CPU that runs at 2.4 GHz frequency, Intel Core i5-7200U that operates at 2.5-3.1 GHz frequency (base/dynamic), or Intel Core i7-7500U that runs at 2.7-3.5 GHz frequency (base/dynamic). The model houses an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU.



MSI Cubi 2 mini-PCs are available in two formats: ‘light’ (115.2x112.2x34.6 mm), targeting M.2 SATA drives; ‘standard’ (115.2x112.2x42.7 mm), targeting traditional 2.5-inch drives. Besides, the models come in two case colors: black & white.


Internal layout allows for the installation of DDR4-2133 MHz memory modules of up to 32 GB capacity. They support motherboards with Intel H110 chipset and a single expansion slot which is occupied by M.2 2230 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth adapter by default.

AMD Readies a Pair of Power-Efficient Desktop Processors

The Internet community is engrossed in a lively debate about the upcoming release of two new Richland desktop processors from AMD. The company has not made any official claims yet, however MSI marked the pair as an appropriate match for some of its new motherboards. Those Richland CPUs, which has already been launched by AMD, proved to be rather power-efficient, featuring 65 W and 100 W TDP level. But new entries – AMD A8-6500T and AMD A10-6700T – are thought to receive 45 W TDP package.
